COVID-19 Update – 7/26/21
We are happy to let you know that our entire staff here at Accutone Piano Service is fully vaccinated against COVID, and that, in addition, we are still taking all the usual precautions when working in our customers’ homes, both for our own safety and that of all of our clients. Please give us a call or send us a message or email about your piano project. With travel restrictions to most locations currently lifted, we’re looking forward to resuming traveling to more distant areas for large piano projects in the next month or so.
COVID-19 Update – 3/9/21
During this time of uncertainty with COVID-19 still dominating the headlines, we here at Accutone have resumed cautiously and carefully performing some in-home service calls for those customers whose pianos are in need of attention. We are taking all necessary precautions to protect our own health, and that of our family and our customers as well. Here are just a few of the guidelines we are following to that end:
- Masking – We will be masking during our appointment, and it is appreciated if our customers would do so as well.
- Social distancing – We make every effort to remain at least 6 feet from our customers during our visit, and appreciate your cooperation. If at all possible, we request that during the time we’re working on the piano, we have the room the piano is in to ourselves.
- Sanitizing – we come equipped with anti-viral wipes to use on frequently-touched surfaces such as piano keys at the beginning and end of the service call. We also make use of hand sanitizer.
- Illness – We are careful to make our in-home visitations only when we are healthy. If we have scheduled an appointment with you, and the day of the appointment comes and we are unwell – even if we are quite certain that the illness is not COVID-related – we will contact you to reschedule. We also ask our customers do the same for us. If we have scheduled an appointment, and someone in the home is unwell on the day of the appointment, we ask that you please inform us so that we may re-schedule for a more opportune time.
For customers living out of state, we are frequently able to arrange for restoration work to be initiated by the use of email and phone consultation. Please contact us for information.
COVID-19 Update – 5/24/2020
We hope all of our customers and future customers have been staying well and safe during the government-mandated shutdown of all non-essential businesses in many areas, including our own Central New York State. We have been staying at home to the extent possible for our own safety. With the phased re-opening of New York State, we hope to be able to begin serving customers again, if only in a limited way, in the weeks ahead. Be assured that when that time comes, we will take every precaution to ensure our own safety and that of our customers. When we are once again able to make in-person visits, we will let you know here on our COVID-19 page. In the meantime, we would be happy to take your phone calls or messages sent through our Contact page. We look forward to being able to resume operations, even if that is only here in our workshop. Much of our major restoration work can be initiated by “contactless” means such as email. Please don’t hesitate to contact us for information. We’d be happy to speak with you!
COVID-19 Update – 3/23/2020
We hope that you and yours are all well, and adjusting to the changes we are all experiencing at the moment. I just wanted to let you know what we are doing here at Accutone Piano Service to help combat the spread of the COVID-19 virus.
In compliance with the latest guidelines from our state government, we have discontinued in-person visits to our customers for tuning and repair work. This is for the protection of ourselves, our valued customers, and others. If you would like to discuss your piano, please visit our Contact page to send us a message, or phone our office.
